SHADIN Altitude Encoder/ Converter Model 8800 Automatic Altitude Data for Loran & GPS Receivers. Provides Mode-C grey code data to transponder, can provide high resolution (10 ft) RS232 serial data to selected GPS systems so altitude data is automatically input. Provides high resolution altitude data for IVS calculations. Can substitute as the 4th NAV satellite when only 3 satellites are in view. Altitude range:-1000 to 35,000 ft.
