The Power Prowler⢠3 in 1 DMM/TDR cable fault finder from Livewire Innovation⢠is a digital multimeter, a fault locator, and a live event detector that is capable of testing energized and unenergized cables. The Power Prowler⢠is used to accurately measure voltage and resistance as well as to test voice, data, and video cables. This device determines cable length, identifies cable faults, and quickly discovers the Velocity of Propagation (VOP) for a cable using patented Spread Spectrum Time Domain Reflection (SSTDR).
