The STX-165 panel mount mode C transponder provides 200 watts nominal output with a 1/2 3ATI panel cutout configuration and a bright LED display. It's equipped with a built-in altitude encoder and three tier functions: elapsed flight time, up timer, and down timer. If the user installs an optional STP 78 OAT probe (305561-91), the unit can also display density altitude (DALT), current outside air temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and an icing alert.
