The PS-2850 APU serves a dual-purpose as an aircraft power supply and battery charger for flight line service and maintenance. It has a filtered 28-volt output power supply with up to 50 amps for testing aircraft electrical systems and charging aircraft batteries on the ramp.

The PS-2850 model supplies an APU plug, allowing direct connection to the APU connector.

The battery charging function is fully automatic. Two LEDs show current charging status, red for charging and green for fully charged.
