The 480 series is a 3 conductor microphone plug designed for high-quality communication equipment and features one-piece tip rod and one-piece sleeve and plug body which are assembled together into a mode as inserts. When assembled, this plug provides complete continuity of thermoplastic insulation between top rod and plug sleeve. An internal interlock mechanically engages the metal and plastic components, providing a realistic lock to prevent parts from shifting.
