The INTEGRA 406 ELT offers an efficient option for installing or retrofitting a 406 MHz ELT with GPS capabilities in individual or fleet aircraft. The Integra ELT transmits distress signals and location data via a 406 MHz signal to the COSPAS-SARSAT network of satellites in conjunction with a homing signal on 121.5 MHz. The Integra’s GPS capabilities make it possible for the ELT to send exact GPS coordinates for a crash site location further narrowing the search area to 0.03 square miles while lowering response times to as little as 30 minutes.
