An infrared thermometer measures the surface temperature of the target area by sensing the infrared energy emitted without physically touching the object. All objects emit invisible infrared energy. Measuring surface temperatures is quick and easy and does not require a separate probe. Just point at any object to measure it's temperature. With laser sighting you can quickly zero in on hot or cold spots in seconds.
